FoodLakayNJ is a community-driven directory and content platform celebrating Haitian food culture across New Jersey. We connect food lovers with the restaurants, home bakers, caterers, food trucks, and vendors that keep our cuisine alive — from griot and diri ak djon-djon to pen patat, akasan, and everything in between.

To make it easy for the Haitian diaspora and curious eaters in New Jersey to discover, support, and celebrate Haitian-owned food businesses, while giving the community a place to share photos, videos, stories, and recommendations.

Built by and for the community

Listings can be submitted by anyone and claimed by business owners. Community members can create accounts, upload photos and videos, post in the feed, comment, save favorites, and follow the businesses they love.
